Crathes Castle is open all the year round and dates back to 1596. The gardens are particularly worth a visit and have been judged as one of the best in Britain in the past. Inside you will find some fine painted ceilings to admire.
Drum Castle includes a thirteenth century keep and in the garden you will find a stunning collection of roses in the Garden of Historic roses.
Craigievar Castle is a fairy tale castle dating back to 1626, rising seven storeys high. Walking the grounds gives you an insight into the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Both Drum and Craigievar are closed during the winter.
