Banchory Golf Club is a ten minute drive away and has a unique clubhouse which is hexagonal in shape. There is an 18 hole course and a 9 hole course with driving range set in parkland. Paul Lawrie 1999 Open Champion played here as a junior.

15 minutes drive away is Inchmarlo Golfing Centre. A great welcome awaits visitors to Inchmarlo with a sign over the door

9 miles from Lochton House is Stonehaven course which is an 18 hole parkland course with the North Sea below! The seascape is spellbinding and with a high cliff top provides a challenge to say the least.

Whether you choose a links, parkland or heathland course there is one to suit your ability and also provide a challenge. During June you can enjoy an evening round when you can see well after 10pm. Golfers are welcome at Lochton House. We have a drying area and lockable storage for golf clubs. A light supper is available and packed lunches can be arranged so that you can enjoy a picnic on the parkland (24 hrs notice please).
